FAQ’s

  • All mentors are verified current college athletes who go through an onboarding process. We check their program affiliation and provide guidelines to ensure conversations are safe, respectful, and helpful.

  • You’ll get real, honest insight into what it’s like to be a student-athlete at a specific college — things you can’t find on a website or recruiting brochure. It’s a chance to ask about the team culture, the coaching style, balancing school and sports, and what the daily schedule is really like.

  • The cost depends on how many sessions you book and which additional resources you’d like to use. Some guides and articles are included, and you only pay for the conversations you schedule — there’s no long-term commitment. See Pricing Tab for more information.

  • Yes, parents are welcome to sit in or listen if it makes the athlete feel more comfortable. However, we encourage students to lead the conversation themselves — this helps them take ownership of their future, ask the questions that matter most to them, and build confidence communicating with older athletes and, eventually, college coaches. It’s a valuable skill that will help them throughout the recruiting process and beyond.

  • No program can guarantee an offer, but these conversations give athletes an inside edge — helping them understand how to stand out, what to expect from different programs, and how to communicate with coaches. Combined with our email guides and templates, athletes are better prepared to take action in the recruiting process.

  • Aspiring athletes pick a time that works for them from the college mentor’s available slots. If you need to reschedule, it’s easy to do so through the system. Conversations can be 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on what you want to cover.

  • You’ll get practical, easy-to-follow guides about what it’s really like to play college sports, how recruiting works, how to build a strong profile, and proven email templates for contacting coaches. These resources help athletes know what to say and when to say it.

  • Safety is a top priority. All communication is monitored through our secure platform, and mentors agree to a code of conduct. Parents are welcome to participate if they’d like extra peace of mind.
